Originally designed with textured hair in mind, inclusive to those who want to achieve their haircare goals naturally without the toxic ingredients that are typically found in many of your beauty store faves. Yep, it’s true.

Each formulation is created with Intention. We provide women and girls with luxury haircare products that they can trust. Every product is vegan, ethically sourced and effective. We use Organic African Shea Butter in our formulas, always.

Why? Founder Rima Young spent 10+ years in the UK hair industry - training in Afro and European haircare salons and eventually starting a career in content creation. Brand proposals poured in after posting her curly hair journey online. A story that began with breaking hair and alopecia had developed into full, luscious, healthy results and LENGTH that she had previously only dreamed of. 

After promoting and reviewing hundreds of hair and beauty products on social media, exhausted and dissatisfied with the industry, she risked it all in 2025 to embark on a new journey. She knew there was a better, safer way to do things, and that her DIY formulas were just waiting to be shared with the world! Koili was born✨️
